About Adi Kailash
Adi Kailash, also known as Adi-Kailash Parvat or Chhota Kailash, is a mountain located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It’s named after Mount Kailash, a sacred peak in Tibet revered in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon religions.
Adi Kailash is considered significant in Hindu mythology as it resembles the more famous Mount Kailash in Tibet. It is believed to be the original abode of Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. The mountain is situated near the Indo-Tibetan border and is part of the Kumaon Himalayas.
